Dictionary

With GAIN Collaboration, you cooperate globally. GAIN Collaboration uses the Unicode standard with an integrated dictionary function. So, you are open to any language, any term or even completely individual translations. GAIN Collaboration also implements all terms in its user interface (dialog boxes, button labels, etc.). The English language dictionary is included in the standard package.

Project structures

You can create projects, subprojects and their structure in GAIN Collaboration according to your individual requirements. All important functions are located on the right mouse button. Without having to link a new document to a new project first, you can create it in no time at all. Use drag & drop to quickly and easily link new documents directly to the project.

Quickly deploy document changes

Do you want to send your colleagues a current document change? Then simply use the “Deploy” function, which will get you where you want to go without checking in. Via “Deploy” GAIN Collaboration places a copy of your local document directly on the server. After an update, the document change is ready for your colleague(s). The right to edit remains with you.

Quick News

Quickly message individuals or team members via integrated quick messaging system. Input display directly on the GAIN Collaboration interface.

If you need to get things done quickly, use the integrated messaging system to inform individuals or team members. The recipients are immediately notified of the receipt of these messages on the GAIN Collaboration interface.

CLEVER DATA EXCHANGE

Import & Export

GAIN Collaboration imports and exports documents of all types, including CAD documents with complex structures. Export documents read-only if desired or with assignment of the right to modify. Documents exported for editing cannot be edited or modified within GAIN Collaboration. When importing previously exported documents, GAIN Collaboration checks whether changes have been made to documents. Example: If a document originally had the status “Released”, it is automatically subject to a revision. GAIN Collaboration offers you various possibilities for data exchange.
